As part of my MFA thesis project I created some simple environments for my characters in Unreal Engine. In this scene I wanted to work with a fun lighting setup. At the time I was inspired by the game Deus Ex: Human Revolution. Particularly the lighting in the main protagonist’s apartment. I was drawn in by the sunlight shining through the large window slats.
I’m happy with how the lighting turned out but If I were to revisit this scene I’d like to add some smaller detail to some of the larger parts of the environment such as the support beams between the walls.
